Don't give up on Molly Moon's ice cream truck

When Molly Moon’s Homemade Ice Cream announced that it was looking for neighborhoods to visit with its new mobile truck, Maple Leaf was one of the first to flood Molly Moon’s Facebook page and Twitter feed with requests, according to our partner The Seattle Times.

Then Ballard, Madrona and Queen Anne chimed in and took over, and were the first recipients of a visit from the new truck over the weekend.

But don’t give up yet! Maple Leaf still has a shot at getting the ice cream truck to visit, especially since yesterday was the last June visit from the Parfait Organic Artisan Ice Cream truck that has been parked Sundays at Blue Saucer, 9127 Roosevelt Way N.E. Parfait may be back in July, but in the meantime, get on Facebook and Twitter if you want to give Molly Moon’s a try.

And if you want to track the truck down regardless of the neighborhood, check out the Molly Moon blog.
