Maple Leaf was one of the early winners when Molly Moon’s Homemade Ice Cream first put out feelers for which neighborhoods its new truck should visit. And it looks like we’ll finally get our visit from the “boutique” ice cream truck.
From noon to 1:30 p.m. tomorrow, the truck will be parked outside of the Washington Dental Building at Fourth Avenue Northeast and Northeast 97th Street, just south of Thornton Place.
And that’s not the last we’ll see this weekend of gourmet ice cream trucks. Parfait Organic Artisan Ice Cream also is returning to its frequent parking spot in front of Blue Saucer, 9127 Roosevelt Way N.E., from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, which is Independence Day.
