		<description>Wonderful tree, but since Sequoias aren&#039;t native here, it had to have been planted by people, meaning it&#039;s not anywhere near 200 to 300 years old.

My guess is that this beautiful tree is more like 75 years old, and I bet it wouldn&#039;t take much to get the Parks Department to agree to save and protect it.
