Essence Salon knows how to throw a party. In honor of its third anniversary, the salon and day spa located at 1415 N.E. 80th St. is staying open late on Thursday, featuring discount prices on special services and a meet and greet with its artist of the season, Ballard-based photographer Kaarin Keil.
The Spa & Artist Party, from 5-8 p.m., will offer services including a cleansing mini facial for $30 or a soothing head and scalp massage with deep conditioning for $15. Other discounts available at the party, as well as other special packages available throughout September in honor of the third anniversary, can be seen on the Essence website.
