Where's my owner? Dog found in Maple Leaf

Seth posted this at Maple Leaf’s Dog Oasis this afternoon. He found the dog in his front yard Wednesday morning, on Northeast 96th Avenue between 12th and 15th avenues northeast.

The tag visible on the dog’s collar is a rabies vaccination tag. Seth has taken the dog to a vet, and the dog does have an identity chip, but there’s been no response from the contact information on it.

If you find a dog, remember that on this post Dr. Scott A. Schini, at the Maple Leaf Veterinary Care Center, offered to put up fliers for lost pets, and also to scan them for chips.

  1. Mickey (the Jack Russell) was reunited with his owners. They were out of town at the time and the housesitter wasn’t as familiar with Maple Leaf to know where the “hot spots” for signs would have been so it took a couple days. But, he’s happily back home now.
