Kids of all ages are invited to enjoy the The Zambini Brothers’ holiday-ized version of “The Tasty Tale of Brave Sir Bump,” called “The Knights Before Christmas,” starting at 11 a.m. Saturday at Northgate Community Center, 10510 Fifth Ave N.E.:
“Twas the night before Christmas and throughout Castle Thump, not a creature was stirring, except for Sir Bump.”
When the bold knights of Castle Thump fail to thwart a most dreadful, yet comical dog-like dragon from ruining Christmas, it is round little Benjamin Bump who suddenly discovers how to tame the savage beast with tasty treats from the Holiday dinner.
This zany new Zambini Brothers puppet show tells the rollicking adventure of a most unlikely hero and how he saves the Kingdom and Christmas from a terrible fate.
This tasty tale is filled with fun hand puppets, much silliness and plenty of holiday cheer.
The free event is part of the Concerts for Kids series, which is sponsored by the Haller Lake Arts Council, the Northgate Community Center Advisory Council and the Northgate Community Center.
All children must be accompanied by an adult, and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
