News for all the dog walkers on 12th Avenue Northeast: Comcast and Co. has spent the afternoon fixing the sidewalk at Maple Leaf’s Dog Oasis.
The result is a better sidewalk, but a blocked Dog Oasis until the concrete cures.
Don’t worry – we moved the treat jar outside the tape.

Fellow dogwalkers: a dog turd in a plastic bag is a much worse mess than a plain dog turd! A bag of dog poop is like a child: never drop, forget, or leave unattended> 🙂

Finn and I just walked by and saw the demolition — I have to laugh at how the construction zone seems to be Dog Oasis-centered! Thought maybe all those $1 donations were going towards a padded, heated sidewalk (kidding!). we love the oasis!
I just wanted to thank the owner for the dog oasis! Although she is too old now, my dog used to bring us to that spot without fail while out on walks. Thanks so much!
