Dozens of women shopped for a good cause on Tuesday night at Maple Leaf Ace Hardware for the first of its monthly “Pink Tour” events.
Its Facebook page explained the evening as a “Hardware Event for Women by Women,” and plenty of staff were on hand to answer every possible hardware question.
And in addition to plenty of expert advice, there was complimentary beer, wine, cheese and crackers.
Not to mention a few groups who made it their own ladies night out for a good cause, with 5 percent of the night’s proceeds donated to Susan G. Koman For The Cure.
