Update 5:15 p.m.

Mystery solved! After a big adventure criss-crossing the neighborhood without luck, we took our new friend to Access, the emergency vet on Lake City Way. The nice lady there scanned his chip for us. “Ralph,” who apparently took advantage of a gate blown open by this morning’s wind gusts, is back home with his family in the north end of Roosevelt.

Laura writes:

Anyone know this friendly, very active pooch? A neighbor found him/her loose near Northeast 75th Street and Lake City Way Northeast. Has collar but no tags.

  1. Verify your chip when you visit the vet! Our dog was walking around for 7 years with a microchip that gave no signal when we, on a whim, asked the vet to check it.
Home Again replaced free of charge.

  2. Ralph is a handsome gent and undoubtedly closly related to my Jake… I’m glad good people found him and that he’s back home…

    Thanks, Shay!

  3. I can’t be certain, but it could be a dog named Jake that lives up by us. If it is Jake, the owner’s name is Chris, and I think he lives on 91st. Not exactly sure which house, but I think it might be one of the 1st couple off of Roosevelt.
