This from earlier this afternoon:

Just emailing you to let you know of a break-in on the 2000 block of Northeast 97th Street on Monday 5/11 around 4:30 p.m.

Back door kicked in, house ransacked, TV, empty purse and some family heirloom jewelry stolen. A neighbor identified the car as an older model large white sedan, possibly a town car or similar, with dark tinted windows.

Other reports:

* Home burglary, May 10th, Northeast 107th between Roosevelt Way Northeast and 15th Avenue Northeast.

* Car smash-and-grab, May 9th, Eighth Avenue Northeast in front of St. Catherine’s Elementary School.

Here is the Seattle Police crime map for burglaries and car crimes so far this month:

  1. Mugshots released by King County only if a convicted sex offender. Check the sex offender registry, they provide a search function for people in your area.
A man by the same name sued Eric Holder, Jr. (Attorney General of the US), anybody have access to this suit?
He was apparently a handyman (14 years) for a company that owns rooming houses in the U-District. He was living on NE 104th in a house apparently owned by the person who runs that company.

  2. Bail set at one million.
His name has been released: Onelio Abundio Cardona-Hernandez
    Thirty five years old.

  3. The recent arrest of a married father of four at his residence in the 800 block of NE 104th for a series of burglaries and rapes in the University District is notable. Also too close to home.
His name has not been released as yet, bail is to be set at $2,000,000 when he is charged.
It is getting spooky in the ‘hood.
