Rain overnight in Maple Leaf: 1.79″

Snow is being reported this morning in Tacoma, Puyallup and Eatonville. Also, Auburn.

The south hill in Puyallup is 400 feet above sea level, the National Weather Service says.

Maple Leaf is at 466 feet outside the Blue Saucer on Roosevelt Way Northeast.

So far, though, just rain.

Totaling 1.79 inches overnight plus .95 inches overnight Friday into Saturday.

The rain is expected to slack off after 10 a.m. before a triumphant return Monday night into Tuesday.

PS: The current forecast discussion posted by the National Weather Service/Seattle speaks of a possible major windstorm here on Tuesday.
