Update Jan. 18th: Rainfall overnight at the official Maple Leaf Life South weather station: 3.62 inches.

That’s a lot.

In  November 2015 we reported 1.79 inches.

In March 2014 we got 1.53 inches.

One day in December 2010 we got 2.85 inches.

The forecast is for another half-inch of rain today, and a quarter-inch overnight.

It won’t hit freezing tonight, according to the National Weather Service here, and Tuesday will warm into the upper 40s.

And it will rain.

Locally, the forecast is for perhaps an inch of rain Tuesday and another half-inch Wednesday.
