Check out what’s new in the community at the annual Northgate Festival, which continues until 8 tonight on 103rd Avenue Northgate, between Northgate Mall and Thornton Place.
Dozens of area businesses and community groups are on hand to explain their services, and let’s not forget all of the freebies, from myriad toys and treats to health screenings from Northwest Hospital.
There’s live music all day at Thornton Place. Schedule is here.
Bouncy fun abounds for kids, between the Seattle Gymnastics Academy and the two bouncy houses.
And there’s fun for the whole family, with myriad activities planned all day at the community stage.
Car fanatics are invited to take a peek under the hood at the classic Mustang car show.
And the new Aljoya, on the southeast side of Thornton Place at 450 N.E. 100th St., invites passersby to try some of the treats from its restaurant, Lilly’s.
What was your favorite part of the Northgate Festival?
This was great! My kids loved both the Mad Hatter show by the Zambini Brothers and the White Tiger martial arts display.
