Just one more week before Halloween, and Maple Leaf is breaking out in orange lights, white webs and black spiders.
Also bones, ghouls, ghosts and witches. (No sign of Lady Gaga. Yet.)
We’re looking for your photos of neighborhood decorations. The spookier the better. Hang that bat, carve those pumpkins, and send us the pictures!
And remember the Howl-O-Ween contest from 1-5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, at All The Best Pet Care, 8050 Lake City Way N.E.
Plus, on Halloween itself, neighbors are putting on the second annual Maple Leaf Parade of Costumes from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 31, centered around the traffic circle at 12th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 91st Street.
Don’t take good photos? If you see a Halloween display that really raises the hair on your neck, send us the address and we’ll check it out: tips@mapleleaflife.com
