Well, at least the snow is pretty

Now that the wind has died down, it sure is purty around Maple Leaf despite the 18 degree temperature during this sunrise stroll around the neighborhood.

However, I don’t think anybody will be riding that scooter today, with the forecast calling for a high of 24 degrees before dropping to a low of 13 degrees tonight.

And even with Metro buses on snow routes, they seemed to be arriving regularly enough this morning that bus stops weren’t getting too crowded.

Even Maple Leaf’s maple trees still have some color left in them. Got more scenes from the snow that you’d like to share? Please send them our way, and be safe out there!

  1. The 73 is running, but VERY sporadically. I waited about an hour for it this morning after carefully checking the “snow route” information online to make sure it would show up.

  2. Thanks for the update LindaJ. At 7:30 this morning, bus lines were short on Roosevelt, but that doesn’t tell us much about the bus ride! Anybody else out there have info on travel times to/from Maple Leaf?
