Update 6:40 p.m. Steady snow returns, half an inch could accumulate overnight.

Update 4 p.m. Snowing steadily. About 1,300 Seattle City Light customers without power, including south of Green Lake and in Ravenna.

It was snowing at 2 a.m. in Maple Leaf, and more is possible until after 11 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.

LOCAL ACCUMULATIONS OF AN INCH OR TWO OF SNOW ARE POSSIBLE ON CARS AND GRASSY SURFACES. IN ADDITION ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS TODAY COULD PRODUCE SMALL HAIL.

Maybe a thunderstorm, too.

There’s an inch of snow in Bellevue, and chains were required earlier at Highway 18 over Tiger Mountain.
