Remember the change in bus routes?

Taking the 77 downtown Monday morning.

All those buses that take commuters downtown and to the University District are now running on Roosevelt Avenue, stopping (here) in front of the Maple Leaf Grill and continuing on down Roosevelt before getting on the express lanes at 65th, near Green Lake. The buses will stay on Roosevelt for the next year, while the 15th Avenue bridge over Thornton Creek is being repaired.

Who remembered their bus stop change this afternoon?

  1. So the return route is a little wacky – the #77 turns right at Lake City Way, right onto 20th, right onto 75th, right onto Roosevelt. It takes longer to get up into the neighborhood than the normal route. On the other hand, it makes it a lot more convenient to pop into the hardware store or Reckless!
