Women's wellness fair has community in mind

Next weekend, it’s all about her at Aljoya Conference Center.

On Saturday, Northgate’s Robust Life Center and North Seattle Community Acupuncture are teaming up to bring us the All About Her Women’s Health and Wellness Fair (pdf).

“It’s really designed to support people in our local community make healthy choices in every area of their lives,” said Holly Guentz, with community relations and marketing at Robust Life Center, 10212 Fifth Ave. N.E., Suite 225.

About a dozen exhibitors are so far scheduled to be at the health and wellness fair, including North Seattle Community Acupuncture, which is located at 10212 Fifth Ave. N.E., Suite 120; and information on nutritional counseling from the Robust Life Center. Other exhibitors will provide information on massage; chiropractic care; organic gardening; nontoxic home cleaning, skin care and hair care products; and even information on healthy animal care.

In addition, the fair will feature jewelry, giveaways, door prizes and healthy snacks from Whole Foods.

The open house is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Aljoya Conference Center, which is located on the southeast side of Thornton Place, just beyond The Bistro at Aljoya Thornton Place at 450 N.E. 100th St.
