Just as the temperature is about to break 80 degrees around noon today, we’ll have a little respite for you down at the Washington Dental Building, Fourth Avenue Northeast and Northeast 97th Street, where Molly Moon’s Homemade Ice Cream truck will be dishing out frozen delights from noon to 1:30 p.m.
And if you like mobile food vendors and would like to try more this weekend, head over to Seattle Center from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow for the Mobile Chowdown. Our partner Queen Anne View says the trucks will be parked at the former Fun Forest site, now known as Center Square, which is just across from EMP and beneath the Space Needle.
And make sure you’re hungry when you get there. Participants include Anita’s Crepes, Hallava Falafel, El Camion, Kao Samai Thai, Marination Mobile, Dante’s Inferno Dogs, Here & There Grill, Parfait Ice Cream, Got Soup?, Al’s Sausage, Koi Fusion (PDX), Whiffies (PDX), Potato Champion (PDX), The People’s Pig (PDX), Maximus/Minimus, Skillet, Top Pot Doughnuts and Street Treats.
