Did you miss last night’s Spa & Art Party at Essence Salon?
The Maple Leaf salon, located at 1415 N.E. 80th St, stayed open late Thursday night and offered snacks and refreshments along with discount prices on special services in honor of its three-year anniversary. Ballard-based photographer Kaarin Keil, whose colorful photographs from around the world are displayed throughout the spa, joined the festivities for a meet and greet with partygoers.
If you missed out, special anniversary services will continue through the end of the month, and there will be more Spa & Art parties: Owner Cheri Hershman plans them each quarter to feature a new artist.
