It’s never happened before in over 9 years, but Bobbi the Black and White Tuxedo Cat has been missing since Tuesday.
From Mark:
She is a 9.5 year old fixed female and her name is Bobbi. She has a stumpy tail which makes her look like she has a bobbed tail, thus her name. She is rather shy of contact with strangers. She lives on Northeast 94th Street nearly at the corner on the west side of Roosevelt Way Northeast. We last saw her Tuesday evening at about 7 p.m. on our back porch.
If you know anything about Bobbi call 206-356-6411 or 206-372-7556.
Yay so happy to hear that!!! Welcome home Bobbi!
Bobbi was on our back porch at 10PM on Saturday, March 16 She came scooting in the door and then to her special place in the kitchen where she eats snacks. She has been eating very heartily since then. That’s good, because she was noticeably thinner. She was very tired, and slept most of her first 24 hours at home. She was perky (but jumpy) on Monday and even went to the back door to indicate she wanted out–but she stayed only briefly. We think she was stuck somewhere, because she has two, rounded abrasions on her face, below and to the outside of her eyes. As if she had to push her way through something. We’re very happy she’s home, and thankful to all of those who empathized with us during our hunt. We felt really helpless.
That’s the news I’ve been waiting to hear!
So glad to hear that!
Bobbi’s home and reunited with his family!
I would encourage people who love their cats to keep them inside or train them to walk on a leash. Check YouTube. More people are having success with kitties on leashes. As much as I adore talking to and petting neighbors cats I’ve also witnessed cats hit by cars. I cradled one as it died from the injuries directly in front of the home where it lived. Please love your pet enough to keep it safe.
I second that. Our kitty, Penne, went missing last August – we found her six weeks later two houses down from us. We think she hunkered down beneath a deck or in a garden shed. She lost some much-needed weight, but was otherwise fine. Good luck on finding your kitty.
I would encourage neighbors to check their basements, garages or any other areas where kitties could accidentally get locked in.
