Do you have a growing collection of items that you’ve been waiting to pass along?
A great opportunity to do so is right around the corner. The Northgate Community Center, 10510 Fifth Ave. N.E., is hosting its annual Northgate Flea Market and Craft Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 26.
The family-friendly flea market offers kids and adults the chance to sell their belongings and browse other vendors’ goodies (see our story from last year).
A few local businesses that missed out when last summer’s Old Country Fair & Chili Cook-Off was canceled also will be selling their products at the flea market, some at flea market prices.
“It’s been pretty popular in the past,” said Heather Harlow, a recreation attendant at the Northgate Community Center.
You can rent a table for $20, and pay an extra $10 for another. Reserve your table at the community center, located at 10510 Fifth Ave. N.E., or call them at 206-386-4283.
If that’s too long for you to wait for some fun at the Northgate Community Center, don’t forget about Valentine Cookie Decorating from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11, followed on Saturday, Feb. 12, with a performance by Johnny Bregar from 11 a.m. to noon as part of the Concerts for Kids series.
